I've washed these twice already and the heavyweight French terry hasn't pilled or lost its shape at all. The texture is what sold me, it looks way more expensive than a standard sweatpant.

The bronze-brown color-blocking is even richer in person, and the heavyweight terry gives them a structured drape that never slouches. I've worn them three days straight and they still hold their shape.

I was worried the French terry would feel stiff, but it's actually soft right out of the wash. The bronze brown color looks way richer in person than I expected from the photos. Wore them on a six hour flight and never once wanted to change.
