The faux suede feels way richer than I expected for a track pant, almost like something you'd wear out rather than just to the gym. The drawcord sits flat under the waistband so it never digs in, which is a small thing but I notice it every time I sit down.

The faux suede has this soft, almost brushed feel that doesn't look cheap at all. The hidden drawcord in the rib-knit waistband is a nice touch since I can adjust the fit without a visible string hanging out.

Wore these on a 6-hour flight and the rib-knit waistband never dug in once. The hidden drawcord keeps them from slipping without a bulky knot in front. Faux suede has that brushed, almost velvety finish that reads way more expensive than it should.
